Your progress deserves proof, not guesswork
YOUR NUMBERS
Tell the Story
OF YOUR PROGRESS
See what's shifting, what's stuck, & what to do next.
You've done the work - changed your diet, taken the supplements, adjusted your lifestyle. But is it actually making a difference?
Your biochemistry often shifts before your symptoms do. The Pathology Comparison reveals what's happening beneath the surface, so you know whether to stay the course or change direction.
Bringing clarity to your health picture through the 'test don't guess' approach
TRACK WHAT’S SHIFTING
SEE WHICH MARKERS HAVE RESPONDED TO YOUR CHANGES & WHICH NEED MORE TIME OR A DIFFERENT APPROACH
KNOW WHETHER TO STAY OR PIVOT
NO MORE GUESSING IF YOUR PROTOCOL IS WORKING. YOUR DATA TELLS THE STORY
REFINE YOUR PLAN WITH PRECISION
UPDATED RECOMMENDATIONS BASED ON HOW YOUR BODY ACTUALLY RESPONDED - NOT THEORY, BUT EVIDENCE
SOMETIMES YOUR BLOOD KNOWS BEFORE YOUR BODY DOES
Here's the thing about healing: your biochemistry often shifts before your symptoms do.
You might still be battling that 3pm energy crash, or waiting for your sleep to feel truly restorative. But underneath the surface, your cells are responding. Iron stores are building. Inflammation is quieting. Thyroid function is recalibrating.
Just like it took time for imbalances to create symptoms (hello, iceberg analogy), it takes time for corrections to translate into how you feel.
That messaging lag can be frustrating - but it's also why the Pathology Comparison is so valuable.
Why Repeat Bloods Matter
When you see your ferritin has climbed from 15 to 65, even though you're still tired - that's proof your body IS responding. You're on the right path. Keep going.
When your inflammatory markers have dropped significantly, even though your gut still feels off - you're heading in the right direction. Your body just needs more time to catch up.
But here's the other side: Sometimes markers don't move as we'd expect - & that's equally valuable information. If your B vitamins haven't budged despite supplementation, there may be absorption issues we need to investigate. If iron's stubbornly refusing to climb, there could be hidden inflammation, mineral imbalances, an infection or other underlying issue that needs a different approach.
THE COMPARISON REVEALS THESE PATTERNS. IT TELLS US WHEN TO STAY THE COURSE, & WHEN TO DIG DEEPER.
WHAT MAKES THIS SO POWERFUL
What You’ll Get From Your Pathology Comparison
Validation when you need it most
Seeing biochemical improvements can keep you motivated during the "messy middle" of healing, even when symptoms haven't caught up yet
Evidence-based decision making
No more guessing whether your protocol is working. The data tells us if we're on target or need to pivot
Celebration of wins
Whether your vitamin D has finally climbed into optimal range, your blood sugar has stabilised, or your thyroid markers are humming along beautifully, seeing those numbers shift is deeply satisfying & proof your efforts are paying off
Learn your body's language
Understanding how YOUR unique biochemistry responds to interventions builds body literacy that serves you for life
Course corrections before you waste time (and money)
If something's not working, we can adjust your approach now rather than spending months (& often money) on approaches that aren't serving your unique biochemistry
Side-by-side visual proof
There's something powerful about seeing those numbers change (or not change) with your own eyes. It makes the invisible visible
Recalibrated recommendations
Now we're optimising based on how YOUR body responded, making your already-personalised plan even more precisely targeted to your biochemistry
Detective work for stubborn markers
When numbers don't shift as expected, it opens new investigative pathways (genetic variations affecting absorption, hidden inflammation, mineral interactions, or underlying conditions we haven't uncovered yet)
This is often where a deeper dive with The Wellness Kickstart becomes invaluable - we need to go beyond the surface to find what's blocking your progress
Your Investment
Pathology Comparison Analysis:
Your current results analysed against your baseline, with trends identified over time and recommendations recalibrated based on how your unique biochemistry has responded. It's deeper detective work - but the insights are gold.
Available via Zoom or in-clinic on the Kapiti Coast.
When to book your comparison:
Schedule your follow-up bloods 12-16 weeks after implementing your initial recommendations. This gives your body time to respond to dietary changes, supplements, or lifestyle adjustments - & gives us meaningful data to compare.
Pro tip: Take your follow-up bloods as recommended for the first ones - fasted, rested, & stopping any supplements (but never medications) 3 days prior. This gives us the cleanest comparison possible.
"Seeing my cholesterol & blood sugar markers improve after just three months was incredibly motivating. Caro walked me through the side-by-side comparison & I could actually see my cardiovascular risk profile shifting in the right direction. It made the dietary changes feel worth every effort - & gave me real confidence that I'm on the right track."

Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I do repeat bloods?
Your initial pathology gives us a baseline. Repeat bloods show whether interventions are working, whether your body is responding as expected, & whether anything new has emerged. Without the comparison, you're relying on how you feel alone - & biochemistry often shifts before symptoms do.
When should I book my comparison?
12-16 weeks after starting your initial recommendations. This gives your body enough time to respond to changes, while still being close enough to identify clear trends.
What if my markers haven't improved?
That's valuable information, not a failure. It tells us something else may be going on - absorption issues, hidden inflammation, a mineral interaction, or an underlying cause we haven't uncovered yet. This is exactly where the comparison earns its value, because it redirects the investigation.
How is the comparison different from the initial analysis?
The initial analysis establishes your baseline & identifies patterns. The comparison analyses your current results against that baseline, identifies trends over time, & recalibrates your recommendations based on how your unique biochemistry has responded. It's more comprehensive, which is why it's a 60-minute session.
Do I need to have done the initial Pathology Analysis first?
Yes - the comparison needs a baseline to compare against. If you haven't done your initial analysis yet, start here. More info here.
How do I prepare for my repeat blood tests?
The same way as the first time - fasted, rested, & having stopped any supplements (but never medications) 3 days prior. Consistency in preparation gives us the cleanest comparison.
What happens after the comparison?
You'll receive an updated Results & Recommendations Report reflecting your progress & any adjusted recommendations. From there, you may continue independently, book follow-up support such as a comprehensive service (The Wellness Kickstart), or explore functional testing if we need to investigate further. We will discuss this together at your session.
